eSIM Setup Guide: Installing and Activating Your eSIM
Purchasing Your eSIM
Start by choosing a data plan for the country you’re visiting or currently in. You can browse our complete range of eSIM options on our website.
Once your order is confirmed, you’ll typically receive a QR code by email within a few minutes.
Activating Your eSIM
Getting started is straightforward. Just follow the instructions for your device:
For iPhone
- Press and hold the QR code, then select Add eSIM. You can also open the Camera app and scan the QR code directly.
- Follow the on-screen steps to add the new data plan. You can leave the default settings as they are.
- When installation is complete, go to your Settings and ensure Data Roaming is turned ON for the eSIM.
For Android
- On the phone where you want to activate the eSIM, open the Camera app.
- Point it at the QR code. When the prompt appears (usually labeled Data Plan), tap it.
- Complete the on-screen instructions to finish setup, leaving the default options as they are.
- Once added, turn ON Data Roaming in your settings for the eSIM.
Helpful Tips
For the best control over usage, enable Low Data Mode on iPhone or Data Saver on Android while using your eSIM.
To avoid roaming fees on your regular SIM, turn off Data Roaming for your primary line.
If you set up the eSIM before traveling, switch it to your main Mobile Data plan once you arrive at your destination.
