I am Swedish, I have lived in the Netherlands, Colombia, and Spain — and I have been traveling extensively across Europe, Latin America, and Asia for most of my adult life. That journey took me from working in hospitality to building hospitality tech, specifically eSIM connectivity solutions for travelers and hotel partners.
Years of working in the hotel industry taught me what travelers actually need — not what telecom companies think they need. Guests do not want to compare data plans at the airport. They want to land, have their phone work, and get on with their trip. That is the problem I built Worldcitisim to solve.
Why I write about travel and hospitality
Most eSIM content online is written by people who have never worked a hotel front desk or dealt with a property’s wifi going down during peak season. I have. That experience shapes everything I write — from destination guides with practical detail that matters, to hospitality articles grounded in what hotel operations really look like.
When I write about guest connectivity, it is because I have lived both sides of it — as the traveler dealing with connectivity problems in every country, and as someone in the hospitality industry watching guests struggle with the same thing.
